Alejandro graduated as a medical surgeon from the National University of Córdoba in 2009. He completed the General Surgery Residency at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires and later specialized in Head and Neck Surgery at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, obtaining the specialist title granted by the Argentine Association of Head and Neck Surgery (AACCyC).
He completed his professional development with fellowships and international stays at centers of excellence in Germany (Ludwig Maximilian Universität – AOCMF), the United States (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York) and Brazil (Instituto Vita / Hospital Sirio-Libanés, São Paulo).
He currently works as a Head and Neck Surgeon at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, one of the main national and regional reference centers for endocrine and complex oncological neck surgery. He is mainly dedicated to the surgical treatment of thyroid, parathyroid, salivary gland pathology and paragangliomas, with extensive experience in thyroidectomies, neck dissections and parathyroid and salivary gland surgeries.
At the same time, he actively participates in national and international academic activities, including conferences, presentations and scientific activities. He is an undergraduate and postgraduate university professor, collaborating in the training of specialists. He combines intense clinical activity with academic development and clinical research, reflected in numerous publications in indexed journals in the specialty and presentations at international congresses.
